When Was Your Last Tune-Up?

Most e-bike problems don't announce themselves—until it's too late.

⚠️ Safety Risks

Worn brakes, loose bolts, and failing electronics can put you in danger before you notice the warning signs.

💸 Expensive Repairs

A $15 brake pad replacement becomes a $300 rotor replacement when you wait too long.

📉 Poor Performance

Dirty drivetrains waste battery power. Misaligned gears wear out faster. Your range suffers.

⏰ Shorter Lifespan

E-bikes that skip regular maintenance need major component replacements years earlier than properly maintained bikes.

Why Professional E-Bike Service Matters

🔋 E-Bikes Are Different

Traditional bike mechanics don't have the diagnostic tools or training to service electric systems. We're factory-trained on Heybike, Velotric, and Jasion electronics—we know these systems inside and out.

🔧 Specialized Tools Required

Proper e-bike service requires torque wrenches calibrated to manufacturer specs, motor diagnostic software, and battery testing equipment. We have the right tools to do the job correctly.

💰 Prevention Saves Thousands

A $125 tune-up can prevent a $800 motor replacement, $400 battery failure, or $600 in emergency repairs. Regular maintenance is the cheapest insurance you can buy.

📅 Every 6 Months or 500 Miles

E-bikes carry more weight, travel faster, and put more stress on components than regular bikes. Manufacturer recommended service intervals exist for a reason—they protect your investment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?
Yes, all drop-offs are by appointment only. Book online through our scheduling system to reserve your time slot. This ensures we can give your bike the attention it deserves.
How long does a tune-up take?
Most Creek Ready tune-ups are completed within 2-3 business days. We'll contact you if we discover any issues that need additional repair time or your approval.
What if you find problems beyond the tune-up?
We provide a detailed repair estimate for any additional work needed. Nothing gets done without your approval. Our goal is transparency—you'll know exactly what your bike needs and what it will cost before we proceed.
Do you service bikes not bought from Cruise the Creek?
Absolutely! We service all Heybike, Velotric, and Jasion e-bikes regardless of where they were purchased. We also work on other e-bike brands—contact us to confirm compatibility.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payment apps. Payment is due at pick-up after service is complete.
How often should I get a tune-up?
We recommend professional service every 6 months or 500 miles, whichever comes first. If you ride in harsh conditions (rain, mud, winter) or put on heavy mileage, more frequent service may be beneficial.
Can I wait while you service my bike?
Creek Ready tune-ups take 2-3 hours of hands-on work plus diagnostic time, so same-day service isn't available. However, our thorough process ensures nothing gets missed. We'll notify you when your bike is ready for pick-up.
What happens if I cancel my appointment?
We understand plans change. Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. You can easily modify your appointment through the booking system.

What Customers Say

"I thought my bike was running fine until I brought it in for a tune-up with Cruise The Creek. Turns out my brake pads were nearly gone and my rear derailleur was about to fail. They caught it before I got stranded. Worth every penny."
